The PC was not consulted on this proposal prior to the announcement. It has raised concerns with both National Highways and Anna Sabine MP. At a recent meeting with National Highways the possibility of parking restrictions in the High Street was raised and is included in the briefing note prepared by B&NES Cllr Fiona Gourley . This is not supported by the PC; however some measures may be necessary which could be implemented following local consultation. It is very disappointing that this consultation did not take place some months ago.
