Your Community

The friendly community of Norton St Philip supports many organisations and clubs including fitness and yoga classes, mother & toddler group, repair and drop-in cafés, lunchtime concerts, driving scheme, art groups, film club, photography club, skittles team, women’s group and a cricket team.

There are two campsites in the area, one between the two villages on the A366 and another just over the Wiltshire border on the eastern boundary of Farleigh Hungerford.
In Farleigh Hungerford there is a spot on the river Frome which is used by what is claimed to be the only river swimming club still active in Britain.

…And West

A footpath from Ringwell Lane in Norton St Philip takes walkers west to an area known as Hassage which lies on the western boundary of the civil parish. The small handful of houses and farm buildings there are on a lane which, after ten minutes, takes walkers to Tuckers Grave pub. (The pub is situated in the adjacent civil parish of Hemington, Hardington and Foxcote.)
